Tips for safe use of Internet banking services


OTP bank pays special attention to the security of client accounts and their personal information in accordance with the highest technological and security standards. This notification is to remind You to properly use the Internet banking services and to contribute to a higher level of security.

You should never:

  • enter token data on the screens that look unusual (for example, if the message "Authentication in progress" is displayed) or which involve unusal messages (do not contain Croatian characters or are not written in accordance with the rules of Croatian spelling), or if the process on the screen is slowed,
  • authorize/enter data with a token (token serial number, APPLI) on any screen except when inside eLEMENT@ Internet banking environment,
  • give Your PIN, token or any confidential information to others, access untrusted sites or follow links from suspicious emails, so You do not infect Your computer.

Note that bank employees will never ask You for disclosure of confidential information such as the above (PIN, token, etc.), so please never disclose Your information to third parties via phone / e-mail / computer screen or otherwise.

If You notice any of the above described or similar situation (which can happen when Your computer is infected), immediately discontinue Your computer work and log a case to info@otpbanka.hr or through Support center at +38572201555.

Bank will process Your notice and get back to You with further instructions.
